Deficiency: Muscle cramps, fatigue
Sources: Table salt, salty snacks and condiments, processed meats, pickles, sauerkraut, salty cheeses, soy sauce, flavoring salts.
Toxicity: Excess sodium is associated with excessive fluid retention, high blood pressure and its consequences.
